It's the wedding season in Kollywood. First it was lovely Laila who got married to her long-standing Iranian boyfriend.
Then it was the turn of Jyothika to tie the nuptial knot with her beau, Surya .
And now, it is Sonia Agarwal who has decided to take the matrimonial plunge, according to the grapevine.
Saucy Sonia will marry her mentor and director Selvaraghavan in Chennai on December 15, it is learnt.
Accordingly, Sonia has started refusing fresh offers. The buzz has it that she has also returned the advance amount to director Jeeva for the flick, ‘July Katru’.
Her latest movie, ‘Thiruttupayale’, according to trade circles, is doing extremely well.
Meanwhile, Selvaraghavan is busy with his Telugu project featuring Venkatesh and Trisha .
The million-dollar question however, is: will Sonia follow in the footsteps of Jyothika and say goodbye to films forever ? Or will she take a leaf out of Laila's book and resume acting, post-marriage?
